The activities of the Financial Monitoring Department of the State Control Committee are carried out in accordance with the following main legislative acts:
Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 408 dated September 14, 2003 "On the formation of the Financial Monitoring Department of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus";
Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 165-Z of June 30, 2014 "On measures to prevent the legalization of proceeds from crime, the financing of terrorist activities and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of Mass destruction";
The Financial Monitoring Department of the State Control Committee is also guided by international legislation in its activities.
