The main tasks of the Financial Monitoring Department are:
taking effective measures to prevent the legalization of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorist activities;
creation and maintenance of an automated system for accounting, processing and analysis of information on financial transactions subject to special control;
implementation of international cooperation on the prevention of the legalization of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorist activities.
