An updated Agreement of Cooperation between the Supreme Audit Institutions of Belarus and Poland signed in Warsaw
The document was signed by Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus Mr. Leonid Anfimov and Chairman of the Supreme Audit Office of Poland Krzysztof Kwiatkowski. The ceremony was held during the official visit of the delegation of the State Control Committee to the Republic of Poland.
The legal basis for the partnership relations between the SAIs of the two countries was laid down by the Agreement of Cooperation signed 15 years ago. "The signing of the updated agreement will give a new impetus to our interaction, will promote cooperation in the audit related fields, the introduction of innovative approaches and methods of audit, the exchange of knowledge and experience," Leonid Anfimov said.
The agreement provides for cooperation in such key areas as exchange of experience in the field of external state control methodology; interaction in the field of training and staff skills development; exchange of information and best practices; conducting parallel monitoring and audit activities.
