At a regular session of the Council of Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions - participants of CIS discussed the role and place of Supreme Audit Institutions of CIS states to monitor the use of public funds allocated for prevention and elimination of natural and man-coursed disasters consequences, as well as a number of organizational issues.
Head of the State Control Committee A. Yakobson shared the experience of the SAI of Belarus on the organization of control over the expenditure of the national budget allocated for liquidation of emergency situations.
During the session, the heads of the supreme audit institutions of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia signed a memorandum on the results of the parallel audit execution activities on forming the Customs Union, development and implementation of the documents regulating the interaction while creating common customs territory.
Memorandum on Cooperation between the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Accounts Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic was also signed during the XI session.
