Meeting of the Coordinating Council of heads of tax (financial) investigation bodies of CIS member states will be held in Minsk


XV meeting of the Coordinating Council of heads of tax (financial) investigation bodies of CIS member states will be held in Minsk on September 19-20, 2013.
The meeting will be attended by heads of tax (financial) investigation bodies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus , Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia , Tajikistan and Ukraine. Representatives of Latvia are invited at the meeting as observers.
Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee - Director of the Financial Investigations Department Igor Marshalov is a member of the Council from the Republic of Belarus.
The main purpose of this meeting of the Coordinating Council of heads of tax (financial) investigation bodies of CIS member states is to continue work to improve the level of cooperation and information exchange, the development of recommendations and proposals in order to prevent and combat economic crime . The agenda includes issues of combating corruption, illicit outflow of capital, criminal bankruptcy, non-return of revenue on foreign trade operations.

Background information
Coordinating Council of heads of tax (financial) investigation bodies of CIS member states was created in 1999 within the founding meeting that was held in Minsk. The main task of the Council is to ensure the economic security of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
