Leonid V. Anfimov was appointed Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus by Decree of the President of Belarus of 14 October 2014 № 487.
Earlier Leonid Anfimov held the post of First Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus.
Biography
Leonid Anfimov born on 11 April 1954 in village Sima, Vladimir region of the Russian Federation.
He graduated from the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute (in 1977) and the Belarusian State Institute of National Economy named after V.V. Kuibyshev (in 1988).
From 1977 to 1984 he worked in various positions at the Minsk Automobile Plant.
1984-1986 – instructor of industrial and transport department of District Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus in Minsk.
1986-1989 - Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Executive Committee of the Minsk City Council of Deputies.
1989-1991 - head of production association "Design".
From 1991 to 2001 he worked in various positions in the Minsk City Executive Committee.
2001-2003 – head of main department of control over the banking system and securities market of the State Control Committee of Belarus.
In 2003-2004 – director of the Financial Monitoring Department of the State Control Committee of Belarus.
In 2004-2005 – First Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
In 2005-2006 – Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus.
In 2006-2010 – Deputy Head of Administration of President of the Republic of Belarus.
From December 2010 to October 2014 – First Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus.
On 14 October 2014 he was appointed Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus.
