Coordinating Council of heads of tax (financial) investigation bodies of CIS member states completed its work in Minsk


Final decisions of the Coordinating Council were signed today by heads of financial (tax) investigation bodies of nine CIS member states. Intergovernmental forum , which lasted for two days, completed its work in Minsk.
The participants of the meeting made a number of landmark decisions. In the next year the financial (tax) investigation bodies of CIS countries will focus on the fight against illegal enterprise and criminal bankruptcy. This topic was touched in the report of the Director of the Financial Investigations Department of Belarus Igor Marshalov. Within Coordinating Council will be held the work to summarize information on national mechanisms to counteract these crimes, including at the legislative level. The participants of the meeting of Coordinating Council agreed to coordinate the collaboration in the fight against criminal bankruptcy and illegal enterprise.
They will continue the common work to prevent and combat crimes related to theft of credit institutions funds and illegal withdrawal of capital abroad. One of steps in this direction will be the summarizing in the framework of Coordinating Council of information about the most actual criminal schemes for withdrawal of capital abroad.
Heads of financial (tax) investigation bodies of CIS member states have also agreed to summarize in the near future the best practice of anti-corruption activity.
At a meeting Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee - Director of the Financial Investigations Department Igor Marshalov was elected Chairman of the Coordinating Council of heads of tax (financial) investigation bodies of CIS member states.
