On January 3, 2013 Chairman of the State Control Committee Alexander Yakobson introduced Dmitry Basko to the staff of the State Control Committee of the Brest region as a new Head of this regional Committee. His appointment as Head of the State Control Committee of the Brest region has been agreed by the President of Belarus on December 28, 2012. Among the guests invited at the event were Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Mikhail Yukhimuk, heads of security agencies, as well as other regional structures.
Alexander Yakobson presented the official ID to Dmitry Basko and noted that he work in the Committee of State Control from 1999 and has enough experience for his new post.
Chairman of the State Control Committee Alexander Yakobson said that the priority task for the new head of the State Control Committee of the Brest region must be the assurance of the economic security of the state.
A.Yakobson drew attention on the need to eliminate the causes and conditions contributing to the offenses. He set a target to trace the processes occurring in the material sector, public sector, taxation.
In return new Chairman of the Committee of State Control of the Brest region Dmitry Basko assured the attendants that he will justify high confidence of the President and the Head of State Control Committee.
