Vasily Gerasimov took part in a session of the Council of Ministers’ Presidium

On October 1, 2020 Vasily Gerasimov, Acting Chairman of the State Control Committee, took part in a session of the Council of Ministers’ Presidium, where draft forecasts of the socio-economic development of Belarus, the main directions of monetary policy and the republican budget for 2021 were considered.
The government plans to increase GDP by 1.8% in 2021. According to the prepared draft documents, the integrated indicators of the work will be the efficiency of economic activity and profit.
The key requirements for the budget are its balance, focus on solving social problems and developing infrastructure. Maintaining macroeconomic stability will require stable execution of budgets at all levels, noted at a session of the Council of Ministers’ Presidium.
