Representatives of the State Control Committee took part in the training on parallel performance audit

Representatives of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus participated in the third workshop on a parallel performance audit on the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis. This performance audit is carried out as part of German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) project "Strengthening the capacity of Supreme Audit Institutions in the Eastern Partnership countries to monitor the achievement of Agenda 2030 objectives" . The event was held in Tbilisi with the participation of audit teams of SAIs of Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan, involved in the parallel audit. During the meeting, the participants were familiarized with the practice of applying the international standards (ISSAI 3000) by the SAI of Georgia, as well as with the presentations of preliminary parallel audit documents submitted by the audit teams of Georgia and Azerbaijan. The employees of the Committee of State Control of Belarus met with General Auditor of Georgia Irakli Mekvabishvili, Deputy General Auditor Ekaterina Gazadze and the head of the social audit department Zaza Shekiladze. Representatives of the State Audit Office of Georgia shared their experience on the preparation and implementation of performance audits (planning, selection of topics, preparation of conclusions, quality control, recommendations).
