Issues of housing and communal services, trade, consumer services, banking were the most relevant subject of appeals to the State Control Committee in 2020

In 2020, the central office of the State Control Committee received 3512 written and oral appeals from citizens and legal entities, the regional bodies of the State Control Committees received 4464 appeals, and to the financial investigation bodies received 5006 appeals.
As a result of consideration of made appeals and conducted inspections, the budget received almost 75 thousand rubles. 99 individuals and legal entities were brought to administrative responsibility, 217 individuals and legal entities were brought to disciplinary responsibility, including 8 people dismissed from their posts. 4 criminal cases were initiated.
The analysis of the subjects of citizens' appeals in 2020 indicates that the most relevant are the issues of housing and communal services, also the number of appeals related to trade and consumer services, banking and leasing activities increased.
In 2020, the State Control Committee conducted 522 direct hotlines and on site personal receptions of citizens, where were considered the appeals of about 500 residents of the capital and regions. The number of calls to the “hotlines” increased by almost 10 times (up to 1,100 people).
