Employees of the State Control Committee took part in a ECOSAI e-Seminar

Employees of the State Control Committee took part in a ECOSAI e-Seminar on “Audit of Sustainable Development Goals” seminar of the organization of supreme audit institutions of the countries of economic cooperation (ECOSAI) on the topic “Audit of goals in the field of sustainable development”, which was held in a video conference mode.
The e-seminar was attended by representatives of the SAIs of Kazakhstan, Turkey, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Palestine, Qatar.
Participants discussed issues related to the realization of the 2030 Agenda and the contribution of SAIs to work on the implementation of the SDGs. The need for a SAI strategic approach to SDG implementation audits was highlighted.
The goal of the SAI is to monitor the achievement of the SDGs in their countries, control and analysis, as well as active work with international organizations in this area, the exchange of best practices for assessing the achievement of the SDGs and their best practices. SAIs must think globally and act locally.
