Deputy Chairman Dmitry Basko took part in the meeting of the Commission on budget and finance of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia

Representatives of the State Control Committee took part in the meeting of the Commission on budget and finance of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, which took place on January 29, 2021 in the format of a video conference.
Deputies - members of the Commission on Budget and Finance spoke in favor of shortening and postponing the preparation and consideration of the report of the Union State Council of Ministers on the execution of the Union State budget. The deputies proposed that the report should be sent by the Standing Committee of the Union State to the control bodies of Russia and Belarus by March 15, 2021 for an external audit, preparation of an opinion and its submission to the Parliamentary Assembly by June 15.
Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee Dmitry Basko supported the proposal of the deputies to postpone the consideration of the report on the execution of the budget for 2020 to the first half of 2021.
The working group on the development of normative documents was invited to prepare changes for amending the Procedure for the formation and execution of the budget of the Union State.
