Delegation of the Financial Investigations Department took part in the XX meeting of the Coordination Council of Heads of Tax (Financial) Investigation Agencies of CIS member states

The Belarusian delegation, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Committee of State Control - Director of the Financial Investigations Department Igor Marshalov, took part in the XX meeting of the Coordination Council of Heads of Tax (Financial) Investigation Agencies of CIS member states. The event took place in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) on August 21-23, 2019.
Representatives of the tax (financial) investigation bodies of the CIS member states addressed current issues of economic security, combating the financing of extremism, as well as various aspects of interagency cooperation aimed at countering smuggling and illicit trafficking of excisable goods.
The participants discussed a plan of joint activities to implement the Interstate program of joint measures to combat crime for 2019-2023. It was also about training personnel for the tax (financial) investigation bodies of the CIS member states.
Sultonzoda Sulaimon Said, Director of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, was elected Chairman of the Coordination Council.
