The delegation of the Financial Investigations Department of the State Control Committee headed by the director of the Department Grigory Veremko took part at the 13th meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Heads of tax (financial) investigations bodies of the CIS member states.
Such issues as the role of the tax ( financial) investigations bodies of the CIS member states in carrying out economic security of the Commonwealth, the improvement of the cooperation in corruption counteraction were considered. Deputy Chairman and Director of the Financial Investigations Department Grigory Veremko stated that counteraction of law violation in economic sphere was the main task of any state.
